Welcome to the Community Car Scheme. The Community Car Scheme operates from offices at Christ Church under the direction and control of Christ Church PCC, and has done so since October 2006.

The Community Car Scheme was set up in October 2004 to provide a vital transport service for the frail, elderly and disabled in Stamford, Bourne and surrounding villages.

The aim of the scheme is to keep the frail, elderly and disabled independent and mobile organising trips to the hospital, doctor, shops, groups and general visits as required. As well as assisting individuals we are able to help organisations with their transport requirements.

The Scheme Co-ordinators organise volunteer drivers to meet the needs of the members. All volunteer drivers are interviewed, fully trained and police checked. They will have ID badges at all times.

Please browse through our website to find out more about the scheme.
