The list shows a cross section of some of the routes we currently operate. It is not exhaustive and we would be happy to give you a quote for any distance as we would consider any journey. However, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE TO PROVIDE TRANSPORT FOR EVERY REQUEST. Our drivers are volunteers who give their time and vehicles out of their kindness and caring for the members of the Scheme. They do it for no financial reward and we rely entirely on their availability and goodwill.

Currently, all bookings can be made by calling 01780 482380 between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm Monday to Friday but PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW OPENING HOURS from Monday 3rd March 2008, will be Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 1 pm. Please try and give us at least 48 hours advance notice, although we do appreciate that with medical appointments this is not always possible. If you need a car in an emergency, please phone and ask and we will try our best to accommodate you. Should you need to cancel a car, please give us as much notice as possible as wasted journeys are costly to the Scheme. Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation charge, depending on circumstances.

There is a set tariff of £4.00 in Stamford & Bourne for “around town” journeys. The minimum journey charge is £4.00. All journey prices are for a return journey to one drop off point and there is no reduction for single journeys. All prices are per person and up to one escort, irrespective of how many people are in the car. We will always try and find a local driver e.g. a Thurlby driver for Thurlby journeys, but where this is not possible, an additional amount will be levied to cover the additional fuel costs.
